Return Policy

We realize that not every purchase works out as planned, therefore we are happy to exchange the item or issue a credit based on the following guidelines:


We understand that purchasing flowers, vegetables, herbs, etc. online limits your ability to see the product before checkout (unlike shopping at a garden center). We promise that any plant leaving our nursery is of the finest quality and horticulturally viable. As with all living plants, each requires care and proper nutrients to acclimate to their new environments. Time and your patience are also essential needs for plants to successfully transition to their new surroundings. 

If you are not satisfied within the first 2 days after receiving your order, please call or email us so that we can help correct the situation. We will thoroughly review your concerns with the appropriate nursery staff and may ask for pictures to be emailed. We may provide you with a one-time replacement if necessary. Replacement plant delivery cost is at the customer’s expense. Some plants are subject to transplant shock and will just need time to completely recover. 


Any order placed with The Biggs Kids Nursery may be cancelled prior to delivery from our headquarters. Cancellation notification must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled delivery time. Once the plant is shipped, all sales are final; there are no refunds.


All live goods have a 48 hour exchange policy with a receipt (some restrictions apply). All plants that are not returned at the quality level in which they were purchased will not qualify for an exchange.

We do not offer returns or exchanges on plants or any live goods after 48 hours.

Once plant materials leave our property we do not have the ability to guarantee that the weather, plant predators, airborne plant diseases, the soil and location it is planted in, or the care it receives will ensure that the plants selected will thrive or survive.  It is up to the individual gardener to pay attention to their plant’s needs and problems as they arise.

What we can do is supply you with a healthy plant that has received our tender-loving-care, is correctly identified as far as its variety, instructions for care and planting of the specific plant, and supplies to help each plant do its best in its new home.  Once a plant leaves our grounds we can take no responsibility for the health and lifespan of the plant.

Plant(s) that are taken home by our customers hold a huge and wonderful potential to bring life, beauty, and inspiration to not only the landscape but to the gardener as well and will only come into their full glory if properly cared for.

Typical maintenance for our plants is watering, insect control, pruning, etc. All of these are subject to proper planting conditions. After plants leave our facility there is no warranty or guarantee implied.


Plants are living organisms that can die from many different causes beyond our control. We do our best to make sure you are getting a quality and viable product. We are a family run nursery; we are not a big-box store who can offer plants at a loss. Plants are our business. We want you to succeed and we will do our very best to give you the information needed to properly transplant and care for your plant.


After you submit your order and the checkout process is completed, your order is taken from inventory and your credit card is charged immediately. This includes any pre-orders. Customer agrees that their order will be delivered without requiring a signature. Our carrier will leave the package(s) unsupervised.


We are very careful to properly and correctly label all varieties true to name. If we have sent the incorrect plant, please notify us immediately and we will send the correct variety at our expense. Proper proof will be required to initiate a redelivery.


The information listed on each product page is for your convenience in order to make a good decision for your specific needs and hardiness zone. Growth rates, Harvest Time, and Years to Bear are estimates based upon historical data and optimum growing conditions and may vary by region. Pictures typically represent plants at maturity, ornamental uniqueness, and/or what to expect by pot size. Plants change in appearance every few weeks as well as seasonally. We do our best to update the product pictures as often as we can, but please note the pictures may not be representative of what you are receiving.


Except as set forth above, The Biggs Kids Nursery does not make any representations or warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of fitness or merchantability, regarding any product purchased from The Biggs Kids Nursery specifically disclaims any and all such warranties. The remedies set forth above constitute the sole and exclusive remedies available to you. The Biggs Kids Nursery shall not, in any event, be liable for damages in an amount greater than the original purchase price of any plant.
