Description

Site Evaluation: We will visit the client’s property to assess the available space for the garden installation. They will consider factors such as sunlight exposure, soil quality, drainage, and any potential obstacles that may impact the garden’s success. This evaluation helps determine the feasibility and optimal location for the garden.

Plant Selection and Design: We will provide expert advice on plant selection and garden design based on the client’s preferences, requirements, and the specific conditions of the site. We’ll suggest suitable edible plants, flowers, and/or fruit trees that thrive in the local climate and provide aesthetic appeal. Our nursery will help create a garden design plan that maximizes space utilization and complements the client’s vision.

Soil Analysis and Preparation: Prior to garden installation, we also offer soil analysis services. We will collect soil samples from the site and test them for pH level, nutrient content, and texture. This analysis helps determine if any soil amendments are necessary to create an ideal growing environment. Our nursery will then recommend appropriate fertilizers, compost, or other organic matter to enhance the soil quality and ensure optimal plant growth. This process may take up to 6 days to get results from the

University of Florida Soil Testing Lab and combine them with your custom Home Garden Installation Plan. The soil test costs $10 and it’s included in the Initial Consultation rate*.

Soil Testing is done before EVERY Home Garden Installation. Understanding the unique characteristics of your soil is essential for successful gardening. Our soil testing service will assess the composition and pH levels of your soil, allowing us to make informed decisions about fertilizer application and plant selection that best fits your plan. Soil samples are sent to the University of Florida Soil Testing Lab and after we receive the results you’ll get the full report of your home garden plan.
